Happy May!! Looking back on April, I didn’t post as much as I would’ve liked to, so this month, I’m going to try to be as active as possible (thank goodness for scheduling posts). Anyways, here’s a summary of the past month:
The Bad Beginning (A Series of Unfortunate Events #1) (Lemony Snicket)
The Reptile Room (A Series of Unfortunate Events #2) (Lemony Snicket)
The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Prisoner’s Dilemma (Mysterious Benedict Society #3) (Trenton Lee Stewart)
The Night Circus (Erin Morgenstern)
The Tale of Troy (Roger Lancelyn Green)
Tales of the Greek Heroes (Roger Lancelyn Green)
Book-wise, April was a pretty good month! I ordered Maggie Stiefvater’s The Raven King, but it hasn’t gotten to me yet, which is disappointing. 😦 May shouldn’t be too crazy with new books, only a few 🙂
These numbers aren’t bad, but I’m going to try to post more regularly this month.
The Vamps: I’ve been in love with The Vamps for almost a year now, but this month I was mostly listening to their two albums on repeat. *heart eyes*
Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 (Netflix): released on April 15, and I was not disappointed. Definitely check out this show if you haven’t yet!
Parks and Recreation (Netflix): This is one of my favorite shows of all time, I love the characters, the cast members, and it’s just so funny.
The Last Man on Earth (Fox, Hulu): most post-apocalyptic shows are super dark and full of death, but this show is super funny, and the fact that the main character is so unlikable makes me love it even more for some strange reason.
In the Life of Julia:
Last month was pretty stressful for the first few weeks, because my teachers were just piling on the work. 😦 But, I had break for the last week, so I got to relax and see some of my family that lives in other states!
I also have been driving with my parents more often so that I can get my license this summer, sometime after my birthday in June.
In other news, I can NOT figure out how I want to organize my bookshelves! They were alphabetical by author’s last name, now they’re by genre, but I don’t know what to do! I don’t have that many books, so doing them by color wouldn’t look that great, so I might just keep them how they are with a few minor changes.
And that was my month! How was April for all of you? If you follow me on Instagram, you know that I’m attempting to participate in a challenge of sorts, and we’ll see if I can post for the majority of the days. Let me know if you have any questions about the books, music, or TV I talk about in this post, and here’s to a great May!
